Harmonised classification: proposed substances

classification_harmonise-CLP.jpgOn the ECHA website, the following substances have been listed as submitted harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) proposals:

  • 3-aminomethyl-3,5,5-trimethylcyclohexylamine (EC 220-666-8, CAS 2855-13-2): the proposal, submitted by Germany, would update the pre-existing classification as follows: Acute Tox. 4, H302; Skin Corr. 1B, H314; Eye Dam. 1, H318; Skin Sens. 1, H317.
  • N-{2-[[1,1'-bi(cyclopropyl)]-2-yl]phenyl}-3-(difluoromethyl)-1-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxamide; sedaxane (CAS 874967-67-6): the proposal, submitted by France, would add the harmonised classification as follows: Carc. 2, H351; Aquatic Acute 1, H400, M-factor=1; Aquatic Chronic 2, H411.

Harmonised classification: intentions of proposal

Fourteen new intentions to harmonise the classification and labelling have been received for:

  • 1,4-dimethylnaphthalene (EC 209-335-9; CAS 571-58-4)
  • pyridalyl (ISO) (EC 605-845-4; CAS 179101-81-6)
  • 2-(2-methoxyethoxy)ethanol; diethylene glycol monomethyl ether (EC 203-906-6; CAS 111-77-3)
  • trichlorosilane (EC 233-042-5; CAS 10025-78-2)
  • 1H-benzotriazole (EC 202-394-1; CAS 95-14-7)
  • clothianidin (ISO) (EC 433-460-1; CAS 210880-92-5)
  • 4-nitrosomorpholine (CAS 59-89-2)
  • thiamethoxam (ISO) (EC 428-650-4; CAS 153719-23-4)
  • imazamox (ISO) (CAS 114311-32-9)
  • dinotefuran (ISO) (CAS 165252-70-0)
  • trifloxystrobin (ISO) (CAS 141517-21-7)
  • esfenvalerate (ISO) (EC 613-911-9; CAS 66230-04-4)
  • ethametsulfuron methyl (ISO) (CAS 97780-06-8)
  • clomazone (ISO) (EC 617-258-0, CAS 81777-89-1).

Harmonised classification: what companies can do

Harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) proposals allow companies, interested in one or more proposed substances, to comment such classification. Those interested in such substances and who have data of interest may contact ECHA to communicate such info.
