New consultation for one substance regarding its harmonised classification and labelling

One new substance subject to public consultation

Public consultation-harmonised classification.jpgA public consultation has been opened by the ECHA for one substance not yet classified in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation. ECHA invites all interested parties to provide comments regarding all classes for physical, health and environmental hazards.

The public consultation has been opened for the following substance:

  • cyflumetofen (ISO); 2-methoxyethyl (RS)-2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-2-cyano-3-oxo-3-(α,α,α-trifluoro-o-tolyl)propionate (CAS 400882-07-7) dossier submitted by the Netherlands, proposing the following harmonised classification: Skin Sens. 1A, H317; Carc. 2, H351

Public consultations usually last 45 days, and in this case the consultation has been opened on the 6th of February 2017, and will close on the 23rd of March 2017.
