UFI generation module is available

The UFI code, introduced by CLP Annex VIII, is a labelling element that links a specific hazardous mixture to its specific data that has been notified to the EU Poison Centres database. Therefore, every company that places hazardous mixtures on the market will have to generate their own UFI codes, so that they can be included in the EU Poison Centres notifications for their products and then be included in the hazardous products' label.

Translate labels and SDS for different countries with the "Language package"

The current regulation requires safety data sheets and labels to be prepared in the official language of the country to which the chemical product is going to be sent. In order to comply with this requirement, the language package can be activated in the Hazex suite. Once this package is active, SDS and labels can be printed in many different languages thanks to the translated statements that become available within the Selerant database.

The “Detergents” module

The installation of the “Detergents” module creates a dedicated menu into Hazex Professional. It will gives you access to all the functionalities available, according to the requirements of regulation 648/2004, annex VII:

  • calculation of the indication of the content;
  • generation of the ingredient datasheet for the medical personnel (“Medical document”);
  • generation of the public ingredient datasheet (“Documents”);
  • generation of the technical datasheet (customized document for internal use).

Printing ADR symbols in your labels

Products subject to transport regulations such as ADR must show an ADR-compliant label on the outer packaging. If the product is not considered as dangerous for transportation, article 33 of the CLP regulation specifies that a CLP compliant label showing the product’s hazard classification will have to be displayed on the product’s outer packaging.
