Updated guidance documents: what’s new?
Following the publication of the 8th ATP, ECHA updated two guidance documents:
• Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria
• Guidance on labelling and packaging in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008
“Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria” reached version 5.0, with the update of parts 1, 2 and 3.
Within the “Guidance on labelling and packaging in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008” it is worth underlining the addition of a new subsection devoted to packaging and the update of P-phrases according to the 8th ATP. In particular, criteria for reduction of P-phrases were updated. Selerant has already activated its regulatory team in order to adopt these updates.
Another update regards the REACH guidance on data-sharing, now available in 23 European languages.
