On May 11 and 13, 2019, the European Union (EU) Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) released multiple food alerts on various food commodities:
- Salmonella enterica ser. Infantis in chilled chicken broiler from Poland (1759);
- Aflatoxins revealed in shrivelled hazelnut kernels (1760), almonds (2019.1756), dried figs (2019.1767) and organic red chilli flakes (2019.1766).
- High levels of boron in sparkling natural mineral water (1768) and in natural mineral waters (2019.1769).
