On August 16, 22 and 26, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) released four new amendments for the List of Pesticides such as Pyrimethanil (PMRL2018-10), Abamectin (PMRL2018-11), Pydiflumetofen (PMRL2018-15) and Fludioxonil (PMRL2018-16) in the Maximum Residue Limit database for some food categories.

EU Amends Pesticide Regulation 396/2005

European Parliament has adopted a new amendment to Regulation 396/2005, setting new limits for the substance lambda-cyhalothrin. Regulation (EU) 2018/960 was adopted on July 6, 2018, and it replaces all the limits set in the previous Regulation (EU) 2017/626.

South Africa About to Change Pesticide MRLs

Australia Sets New MRL for 19 AgVet Chemicals

China updates MRLs for Pesticides

On December 18, 2016 National health and family planning commission of the People’s Republic of China (NHFPC) released Announcement year 2016 No. 16 (in Chinese), publishing GB2763-2016 Maximum residue limits for pesticides in food and additional 106 National food safety standards on testing method of pesticide residue in foods.
