On January 25, 2020, the T.C. Resmi Gazette of Turkey has notified the publication of the “Communiqué on The Classification of Raw Cow Milk (No: 2019/64)“
The aim of the announcement is to regulate the composition of raw cow milk used in the production of dairy products in order to increase the quality of raw milk production and the producer revenues.
Therefore, classification according to the protein value and fat value of raw cow milk is introduced.
This notification shall come into force on the date of publication.
